Fine motor activity for Preschoolers – Looping chenille stems
Just when I was about to toss a plastic produce box in recycle bin, I found that it had perforations on either side. This gave me an idea – to use the box to loop the chenille stems (aka pipe cleaners/puffy sticks)!
Activity: Looping chenille stems through the holes in the box.
Aim: Hand eye co-ordination and concentration.
Materials used: Perforated plastic box (like – roma tomato box from costco) and chenille stems.
Skandhu loved looping the puffy sticks through the holes. We twisted the sticks and LO said that the box with twisted sticks resembled a “big bus with lots of wheels”!
