Preschool pretend play – Our little mail carrier!
This post is from our vacation to the north west during the labor holidays. We had a nice time roaming around the coastal cities in NW US and lil one had a blast! When we returned to our hotel room after a day long sightseeing, we were tired and worn out! But our super active 34 months didn’t seem to bother about the tiredness! I had carried toys, books and even coloring pages to keep him busy. But ironically nothing helped. He was whining and tinkering the furniture in the room. He found that a chair had a tiny slot between the metal bar and the ply-board. He beamed with joy and exclaimed that it looked like a mail slot!!! Then he took a paper and put it through the slot assuming it to be a mail.
He wanted to be a mail carrier but was worried that he didn’t have a mail van/truck. I suggested him to use his stroller and he was super excited! What happened next is what you see in the pictures below. LO kept himself engaged while we relaxed (really??!) for sometime
